Ok.
I recently upgraded from an iPhone to a Samsung 5. I bluebooth my phone through the car stereo. GXL Model '14.
The iphone would show up all my contact on the radio screen but my new phone doesn't. Has anyone come across this and do u no how to fix it?
My other question is and the GPS. I know thers no GPS with the GXL. But I was in my mate VX yesterdsy and was really impressed with the GPS. Im sure its been done by someone. But does anyone know it is hard/easy to set up the GPS on the GXL or can it even be done?

Pauly, make sure your contacts are saved to the phone memory not just the SIM card.
Wife had the same problem.

You might have to un link your iPhone 1st prior to linking the Samsung. Failing that, find a teenager

pauly there is a thread somewhere on here about it, you will have to do a search. ill look for it tomorrow. From what I can recall reading, it is not possible to have the vx gps / screen in the gxl, and a few have gone with after market models instead.

You can buy the parts required on-line to move the info screen lower in the dash and you then place the aftermarket GPS/Stereo were the screen no sits as per the GX. A mate of mine did it based on info from PP. Looks original and he is running reversing camera through it as well.
