  • Hello from Chile

    Folks
just a quick hello from a new Prado 150 VXL owner from Chile.

Just picked it up last week and am gradually getting to know and love it. We only get the option for petrol and as far as I can see it is most similar in terms of spec as to the NZ VXL (but doesn't have some of the fancy bits like GPS, the rear seat entertainment stuff, blind spot monitor).

If there are any Chilean Prado owners on here with advice re. buying accessories (roof rack/parilla de auto etc) I'd much appreciate any pointers. I'd also like to buy a English owners manual too

Just to show the attention to detail that the Chilean dealers have, whilst going through the various cubby holes, I found the 'free' first aid kit supplied by the dealer

It contains a single paracetamol, a plaster, an ear bud and a swab... As a mate pointed out, it's just lacking a note saying "man the #### up"!

That kit would be enough for a war zone, what more could you possibly need. (PS the paracetamol is a bit soft, but acceptable if someone loses a limb)
