New Prado Diesel GXL - Couple of questions

Hi all,

Just picked up our new Diesel GXL on Friday. Very happy little camper.

I have a couple of questions and comment so far.

How does the sup tank work?
How does it fill?
How does the fuel gauge work?
How do you swap between primary and sub tank?

Comment - The new prado's don't come with model decal on the right side of the spare wheel. What The. Only the Kakadu does.

Just think of it as having one tank and that's all you need to know, it acts like one tank and there is nothing you need to do, just fill her up and drive.

Yes, a bit cheaparse on Toyota's part there. You could always complain to the dealer that the model badge seems to be missing from yours, I'm sure they can rustle one up from their spares department.

Ahh , saw a couple this week and was trying to work out what model they were. This explains things

Easy to tell,

Black door handles and mirrors = GX
Colour coded door handles and 17" wheels = GXL
18" wheels and no badge = VX
Kakadu badge = Kakadu

That is providing the owner hasn't changed any of these things.

Sorry my mistake... I just had a double look just then... they are 18s lol...I was thinking of my mum's FJ cruiser wheels and mistook them for my prado for some reason...
