New app is avaliable (about bloody time) Pandora internet radio!

Just update the app on your phone (Make sure it's running) and jump in your car. It should ask if you want to install an update

You realise you can stream any of the much better internet radio any time through USB or BT with your smartphone the whole time?

Pandora, iTunes Radio, spotify what ever your pick, was always available through a phone or tablet with Internet.

Having the app on the car stereo adds nothing. I was hoping the update would fix the loooooong pause the head unit does every start up that causes the screen to become unresponsive for 30sec, keeps happening while I'm backing out of my driveway so I have the reversing camera on for 500m down the road before it sorts itself out.

To me having the app does add something, as it makes it a lot easier to operate and change things.
I don't want to fiddle with my smartphone while driving and Siri only goes so far in being able to change things. Having this on the car display will be helpful.
It would be great if they keep developing this and start adding more apps (Perhaps add navigation?? although that is probably wishful thinking...)

I agree with the annoying startup time of the system, but that has more to do with the overall hardware I'm afraid, so that's not likely to be resolved with an update of the software...

Yep I think the app on the car screen is great ! No f****ng around with your phone while looking out for police ... and risking everyone's lives while you're at it.
Having the app on the car stereo adds a lot.

The Toyota link and apps on the ICE are sooo underwhelming. Why did they bother? Even Holden has a better system and that's saying alot.
