  • Dual tank emptying

    Hi all
Getting a long range tank installed on the car soon and made a rookie mistake by filling all the way up. I'll barely use 1/4 tank by the time I get the tank if its normal use. Can anyone enlighten me if the fuel drains from the aux tank first then main or both or what?
    Cheers

    The rear tank empties first.

There is a drain plug in the bottom of the aux tank.

Having had to drain my tanks on one occasion I removed the protection plates and could not see any drain plug. Mine is 2011 Ended up removing the filler pipe from the respective tanks and pumped out that way

I was making an assumption as there was one in the aux tank on my 120 as I had not been able to check my 150 yet. Well we all know what happens when you assume something!
