Have a 2012 Altitude with the Oem Gps same as the VX and Kakadu. Travelling in Adelaide CBD today and couldn't find place to pick up my wife. Tried putting in location in on board GPS but just too much trouble while driving ( ie Oem gps input not very user friendly).
So pulled over and tried Google Maps on my IPhone. Hit the route finder on Google Maps and bugger me, the next thing I know is the English lady on the Oem GPS starts giving me the directions and the map function is working on the on board screen.
Anybody else experienced this?
If it works like this then it makes route location and direction so much easier in the Prado.
