Sound proofing difference between GLX & Kakadu trims

Dear all, greetings
I wonder if anybody had a chance to test sound proofing difference between GLX & Kakadu trims of the same year productions. Some claim Toyota actually sound proofs top trims more than lower ones while some argue both are created equally (in contrast to Lexus GX). 2016 Honda Pilot is equipped with acoustic glass available only to upper two trims though nothing is mentioned about sound proofing in general.

I can definitively say that the VX has a better windscreen than the GXL. I had a crack in mine and needed to be replaced. The repairer ask me what model I owned and it was explained to me that the VX has noise acoustic glass whereas the GXL does not. I have often wondered what added features are applied to the VX and Kakadu that are not listed in feature.
