Colour Choice

I am close to upgrading to a new 150.Most of my cars have been white or light and I probably will go that way again but the graphite colour looks good too.
* does it show the dirt more than white? White hardly ever needs washing.
* does it show bush pinstriping worse than white or silver?
On an unrelated matter, does anyone know if the transfer case on the new 6 speed auto is the same as the 120/150? ie will my transfer case/ actuator bash plate from my 120 auto fit? Thanks.

Yes. It shows dirt almost as bad as black
Yes. It certainly shows the pinstripes, especially if they are deep. I have some on mine that you can see through to the undercoats and stands out like dogs b...s

If I had my choice again I would go silver or white over the graphite.
Yes it looks great but gets dirty within 2 days of washing and all scratches show up. Gets super hot inside in the summer also.
But obviously go with what your heart wants..

After driving various company cars over the years I have bought silver for the past 3 cars, best all round colour IMO

A mates got a black 120, always looks dirty and he washes it often

Just to be different I went for Metal Storm. Looks great in the sunlight for the first five minutes after you wash it.

Im with you, Graphite is the best looking colour, nothing better than when she's all cleaned up. But impractical from a scuff mark and pinstripes point of view. I'd go the silver if I had my choice again.

Metal Storm

Having had black and white cars over recent years, we would never get another black one again as it is far, far too hot compared to a white one. In fact, we sold the black Suburu Forester and purchased a white one and it is so much cooler. Just for this reason, do not get black or similar colour.
