Fuel light on with half tank

G'day , just had a call from the Mrs & she says the fuel light is on even though the fuel gauge is showing half full. The tank should probably be about half full so I think something wrong with the fuel ight / Sender... Has anyone experienced this before ? I couldn't find much in my search..Thanks!

Hello, I figured it out.. In case someone else has the issue... It wasn't the low fuel light it was the fuel system warning light.
i drained the fuel filter from the drain plug at the bottom & reset which has clear the warning light.. Will replace the filter on the weekend..
