Roof Lining Removal

Has anyone ever removed the roof lining in their car? Thinking about dynamatting the roof but not sure if it will be worth the effort of removing the lining.

Did you ever get your roof lining removed? I am going to do it to install a roof mounted DVD and was wondering how hard it was.
