Turning Nav volume down

Hi guys freaking stupid question I know but I just can't seem to find where to turn the Nav volume down or mute it!
I have a 2016gxl Prado any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I have a 2009 so not sure if they are different but from memory it's in the settings menu. Do you have the Navigation System manual?

Sorry, can't help you, but I had the same question just the other day - haven't gotten around to going through the menus though yet... I'll be monitoring this thread

I'm sure the setting you're after is the Voice Volume setting which can be found by clicking the Settings cog in the top right corner of the home screen, then selecting the Voice option in the menu.

Yes, just checked and that's where it is. I set it to 1 - will check next time I use nav if it's still louder than my music or not

Was just coming back on to update this thread but seems corza3 has beat me to it.

It's on pg285 of my nav system manual (2009 model). You push the "Setup" button on the screen surround then go to "Voice" and adjust the level as per the buttons on the screen.

At least it prompted me to finally get around to pairing my new Galaxy S7 with the bluetooth on the car.
