Rock Tamers and exhaust

Hi all
Does anyone use Rock Tamers? If you do, have you had any issues with the positioning of the exhaust i.e. does it blow straight onto the rubber mudflap, or have you had the exhaust redirected off to the side.
Any comments appreciated.

Hi, I use them on my my16 VX and no matter how far I locate them from the rear of the vehicle I get exhaust gunk all over the right side one and on the chrome bar, also get exhaust soot on rear door pannel. Cleans up ok with rp7 etc. but worth it to save front of the van from stone strikes.

Yes I've found them to be not to bad but on my previous vehicle I had a new tailpipe made that directed the exhaust out to the side - that worked very well.
