For those that have used the BMW hooks and the standard flooring including the rubber mat do you find it is up to the task of holding a fully laden fridge? I was a bit concerned the weight would damage the seats underneath, they don't have that thick a backing.

No issues at all Corine, strong as and my Waeco has not moved. I find the rubber mat also locks it down well.

Thanks for the feedback Daniel. I was considering building a false floor and mounting a fridge slide to that. I don't want to leave it in full time though and really have nowhere to store it out of the vehicle (sucks not having a garage). The only drawback with the luggage hook approach is having to climb into the back to access the fridge.

Luggage hooks for VX and Kakadu
True , the free jelly belly jelly beans offset that a tad, yummo!
Honestly but it has not really bothered me but I am 185cm tall, so I can reach it ok. Before we had our Driftas stolen it was a right pain getting into the fridge, slide or no slide.

Hi all,
With the current exchange rate, buying from pelican doesn't save all that much, so I'm wondering whether I should pay the local price of $78x4 and get ones from Toyota instead. Problem is I can't find a picture of them anywhere and the local dealer doesn't have them in stock, so they can't show me either. Does anyone by a chance have a picture of the original part 6631005040? Are they better/same/worse as the BMWs from pelican?
Thanks in advance!

Possibly I could put them into the empty pocket on the backdoor, although they'll probably rattle in there. Still, an option worth considering, of course.
