Well, from being ordered in november 2009, delivered (picked up) today 18/3/2010.

Feb build, VX Deisel, zero options other than the mats.

Light silver with black interior, love it.

Had 5 km on the clock when I pcked it up, wife is over the moon, still finding gadgets and options.

Drive is sooo quiet and smooth, counrty roads at 100kph is almost noise free.

I am going to have to do a trip to the Gold Coast and back on Wednesday next week for a funeral, so it should be a decent run in trip.

They are great (for all the knockers on here) I have had my GXL (couldn't justify the extra expense for the VX) for 3 weeks now, had it dirty a few times and as had a couple of lonmg country trips so alreday 3000 kms on the clock.

Drives like a dream, and country roads...it's though they don't exist.

Try something like Photobucket. I have never been able to upload anything onto this site other than an avatar image. I don't the quota message but I get one that tells me that .jpg, .gif, .etc... are not a valid format.

Hi all>

200 km Range report.

fuel use sitting on 10 lts per 100, a mix of all driving, but on the most in town so far.

Ride, etc is great, more like a Statesman or Fairmont Ghia than a 4WD.

I cannot get over the low noise level, at 115kph on the expessway today, stereo off, all I could hear was the air con (air out of vents), no road or wind noise, just so quite, it is really good. (my weekday drive is a 2002 HDJ79R ute with 315-75-16 mud terrain tyres, so I know all about road noise)

The fit and finish of the interior is very good, well past my BF falcon and as good as many Euro cars I have seen of late.

I will be tinting the front two windows to match the rest, a towbay will also go on when I find one that sits up inside the bumper, not 100mm below it like the factory one does.

So far I am happy as a dog with two tails, I keep finding reasons to go for a drive.

The service I got from Maitland Toyota, and Belinda Bailey (sales) was nothing short of Outsatanding, no pressure, always returned calls and made it all too easy, I used toyota insurance too, which was over $300. per year cheaper than NRMA and I have 6 other NRMA policies, so I was getting the "best price". Toyota insurance also offer as part of thier standard polcy a 3 year new for old as opposed to 12 months from NRMA.

I will keep you posted of impressions etc as they come along.

i would be interested to know if you are able to get tiniting as dark as the privacy tinting. from the places i've called - no-one can do it as it is illegal.
