Picked up my 2010 GXL D4D this morning. Very happy so far, smooth delivery by the dealer, was presented very nicely until it got rained on.
Spent about an hour going through everything, pairing my phone, setting up speed dials etc, got a couple of bonus goodies - Picnic backpack, 50% discount meal form a local Thai Restaurant, very small very basic first aid kit.
Also something I didn't realise at purchase time was that I get an extra 3 years warranty on top of Toyota warranty (total 6 years) as long as I go to this dealer for all my scheduled services and don't miss any. Not sure if this is something that all dealers are offering or not? I was going to go to this dealer anyway as I have the capped servicing costs for the first 6.
Already fitted all three kids seats, deep rubber mats (on top of Toyota ones). Seems a lot wider than my old car as I don't have to shove the kids car seats together so hard to get the doors to shut
Plan to get UHF installed ASAP, it was a pull out from my old car, will do this myself. Hayman Reece Towbar is booked for next week and BFG 265/65/17 AT's will be going on as soon as Bob Jane T-Marts fill their back order, again probably in a week or so.
Bit disappointing that the feet from my old Rhino bars don't fit the rails, they are close but just a slightly different profile, hopefully ARB can supply just new feet.
Suppose I should start a build up thread....
Obligatory first pics anyway -
