iPhone on the Kakadu has the same problem. I'm guessing there isn't a fix yet

However, with iPhone the built in voice recognition works well through the system, just have to hold down the button on the phone. (edit: ok, now inbuilt iPhone recognition not working properly. Calls number then hangs up)

Sorry to resurrect an extremely old thread. Just picked up my 2012 Kakadu (Jan build) and i was extremely dissaointed to see that the above two problems still exist in 2012! I actually read the thread befure purchasing but thought it would be resolved by now as there have been no other reports and 2 years have past.

The two specific issues are:

1. Multiple possible numbers detected and multiple voice tags (even though the correct one was displayed initially).
2. Using the iPhone voice recognition - attempts to dial and then Disconnects (Siri and iPhone 4S). Works fine when disconnected from Vehicle.

I will mention it to the dealer and also mention the DPR back in 2010 and see where we go. Has anyone managed to resolve these issues via a software update? I'm guessing not, as i would assume my Jan 2012 vehicle would have the latest software installed.
