I was told it would take about 4 weeks to ship from Japan. You used to be able to track with a code they provided upon purchase but doesn't seem to be the case any more. Do you know when yours is being made?2018 150 Series Crystal Pearl Prado VX 2.8l. 2 inch King springs and Bilstein shocks, Airtek TJM snorkel.

As I do remember, the bodies are always assembled in Tahara, and many other parts in a city called Nagoya. I am not sure how all these things are going right now, maybe it has changed, maybe not. Back when I ordered my 2018 prado, it was delivered in less than two months actually. I still own the car, and man, I really love it! I actually modified it a bit, it is right now a "offroad beast"! However, a couple of months ago, the transmission got broken near Atlanta, and I had to call Guardian so they would actually transport my car back home.Last edited by Alduinn; 08-03-2021, 12:50 AM.

Ive been to Nagoya as well , very huge place , very nice and spread out yet very easily accessible by amazing public transport systems. residents are proud , hard working and very friendly. Only the RAV4 assembly plant is open for tours now , and you only see a small part of the body assembly anyway. You dont see body stamping or casting any more , But if you go to the Hall of Fame museum you can see those processes scaled down as well as airbag manufacture and engines going back to the 70s.

Shipping from Japan is going to take a while! It's such a shame that we have to wait a long time until our parts are going to arrive. I've started working on a project car with a friend and it's so hard to find parts. There are times when we do find them, but they're located on the other side of the world. We're also planning on looking for a car transport quote because we will be moving to another state. I didn't know that it was so much work to do related to a car. Hopefully, we will be able to finish this project and ride our car hahaLast edited by iansolin; 27-08-2021, 07:54 PM.
