I fitted a HR towbar to my 2018 Prado and noticed that this one has a new smart pin and no adjustment bolt to prevent slop in the hitch. The problem is that the hitch pivots around the smart pin causing slop around the lateral axis. Tightening the smart pin won't fix the problem because the slop is up and down not sideways. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? I've emailed HR direct and I'm awaiting a response

If they dont shed any light just drill a hole on the bottom side for female part of the tow bar then weld a nut in place..leave the bolt inside the nut to prevent the welding heat distorting the thread
