  • What oils for auto 3.0lt

    Looking on penrite app, there is like 3 diffetent viscosity you can use for engine.
    what one should i use and does everyone use penrite.
    I'm just short of 70,000 ks

    I use Penrite HPR Diesel 5 5W-40. It's a semi-synthetic and the one "Preferred" by Penrite. I live in a cold climate so stick with the 5W but if you live up north or where it doesn't get too cold you could use a 10W. You can get it on special at Supercheap Auto for around $60 or $70 for 10 litres from memory.

        Thought the D4D used full synthetic, hence the 10,000k oil changes?

          I use Penrite HPR 5 5W-40 for the winter change, and Penrite HPR 10 10W-40 for the summer.
