Hi all,
For the past few weeks, I've been unable to successfully connect my android phone to by 2009 Prado with call audio enabled. I can pair up my phone to the stock Toyota stereo fine and am able to listen to music as well as control the tracks fine. When I go to the bluetooth settings and tap on the gear icon beside the "Car M_Media" connection, all I see are "media audio" and "contact sharing". I don't see any option for "call audio", which explains why I was able able to answer calls using the button on the steering wheel.
Has anyone encountered any such issues before and knows a fix?
My phone is running Android 8.0 with the September 2018 security patch. I tried pairing my partner's Samsung Galaxy S7 phone but I'm getting the same issue.
