Centre Console Removal

Hi Guy & Girls,

Does anyone have clear instructions on how I can take apart the centre console and the area under the radio. I want to install my CB and switches.

I have a 2014 150 Prado.

I have looked and looked and can not find anything that is clear.

Photo's or video' or anything would be fantastic and greatly appreciated.

I have taken out the radio several times and the centre console once when I dropped a micro SD card from the dash cam under the lid of the drinks holder.
Unfortunately I cant remember exactly how it came apart but it wasn't too difficult.
My Prado is 2015 GXL manual so I hope it is the same as your model. I would start by pulling out the air conditioning controls from under the radio. These are held in with clips and can be pulled out by hand or gently prised out with something like a bike plastic tyre lever or protected screwdriver. Things should be a bit clearer then and you will probably find the side panels just clip in place as well. Sorry I cant remember in more detail.

That is correct. Start with the AC controls and then the rest.

Go and buy a plastic trim removal kit, makes a big difference, no scatches and handy little levers.

on a console note
has anyone found the centre console tray to fit the non fridge consoles? i find plenty for the ones with a fridge
i fitted one to the 120 series and it was great now the misses wants one for her 150

John, I would if I could as I like to keep things neat and tidy

I have 0 items in my inbox.
I have 13 items in my sent box. I try to delete these, the system says deleted but they are still there. Logging out and back in again I still have 13 items in my sent box.
I have 0 items in my imported messages, trash and requests.
I have read all notifications and there is nothing to dismiss.

It has been like this since the "upgrade"
