Hi,
Sadly I’ve had to have the motor on my 2014 facelift 150 replaced.
It is already to be picked up, but the mechanic reports that as above, Central locking is not working, the fuel gauge reads empty and displays the yellow icon on the dash and there is absolutely no display on the stereo unit.
Car will start perfectly with the fob touching the start button only.
The mechanics are thinking electrical and a blown fuse on that circuit? The batteries in the Prado have been disconnected for a lengthy period.
I’m thinking more like a communication loss between the fob/ key and the security, or that the key needs to be paired again to the security ecu.
Does anyone know of this issue or how to get the key to pair either manually or by Techstream?
