Flashing fuel light

Driving home today and fuel light came on and started flashing.
Checked the user manual and did some research. Haven’t been able to find an explanation for flashing fuel light.
Husband believed it was warning light for water in fuel. We checked fuel filter, could not find any trace of contamination based on fuel filter.
Hoping someone can please shed some light on this for me.

Is this the normal fuel light? Not the ones with the dots underneath? If so, you have an issue with fuel not transferring from the rear tank to the front tank.
