Air Conditioner Won't Turn Off

Hi folks,

Apologies if this has been posted before.
I have a 2011 150 GXL.
The aircon unit 2 weeks ago decided to stay on.
It is stuck on full fan, one of the screen de-misters works but apart from that, all dials and buttons are not working, including the OFF button.

I have disconnected the battery for a few minutes - nothing changed.
Today I removed what I thought was the aircon fuse - and still it stayed on.
The fuse I removed is circled in the pic.

Doesn't look like a simple or cheap fix.
Has been interesting with a cold aircon running and frosted windows in the middle of 3 and 4 degree mornings in Adelaide!

Any help in how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Does it have rear climate control option? If Yes > Is button stuck in on rear of middle console? Pull the A/C fuse 2nd from top, middle row.

Thanks for the reply Piggy. I looked at the rear AC unit but no buttons appear on.
I did also pull out the Aircon fuse you mentioned, but the unit stayed on.
