KDSS Light on "Cold" Mornings Only

Hi Guys

Yellow KDSS light comes on in mornings below 16c after driving a few minutes. Turns off after 30min or so or when turn off engine and back on again. Only on "cold" mornings! Any ideas

I have found mine doing the same but more around 3° or less and wondered if it was the cold.

HI with that problem it will be caused by low battery voltage . Batteries don't like supplying high current when cold. How old are the batteries in the cars?

Thanks Loddo, I'll test that before any expensive KDSS replacement parts.

Mine does that when parked at the ski fields (and the temp gauge was saying -8C ). The KDSS light stayed on for about 20 minutes while everything warms up and then it goes off. It's happened over 2 separate ski seasons.
