Ordered VX...pretty excited

Yep been two years on and off looking at a new car and yesterday was pleased to place the order for a new VX in Crystal Pearl with Sat Nav - will receive in August.

Ordered from Clintons Toyota Narellan and I am so happy with the service received and they were the best price between four written quotes I received.

Will get a few basic accessories from Toyota at first service to save paying extra 33% on LCT. And also getting a price on Leather protectant - anyone had it done before?? Two kids thinking it may be worth it (depends on $$ obviously).

Good on ya mate,

I've bought two 120's from them and also get the new one serviced there. Keep your eye out for a white 120 with an Exploroz sticker on the back glass, and say G'day.

we had leather protector on our x-trail. whether or not it helps i'm not sure. but bottom line... if you can't get the stain out, they have to fix or replace it!! fabric protection definitely works - spills mop straight up. it's a bit harder to tell on leather since leather cleans better than fabric anyway.

got leather in the Liberty, its unmarked and I got two kids that are 4.5 and 2.5.
I personally wouldn`t bother with any leather or paint protection for that matter. I use a bit of mothers leather cleaner and conditioner every 6month or so.
I also give the cars a polish every 3-6 month.

I have had no trouble cleaning up any of the many spills and the leather isn`t marked anywhere.

Daniel & Starcees its taken a few weeks but here is a couple more pics uploaded from the phone, there is some better ones on my digital camera too if you want to see more, just let me know.





Im glad I ordered the upgrade I love playing music straight from my iPhone with all the options like playlists also having all my phone contacts appear on the touch screen is handy + phone option also has voice tag dialling. I havent used the sat nav itself a great deal but know I will in the coming weeks.

I did notice that the screen says CD/DVD, so I put my Daughters Dora dvd in and it plays on the screen with perfect sound & vis, only while the car is stationary...which gets me thinking can another screen be hooked up and dvds played through this unit :?: :?:

Looks great, yes i think you can hook another screen in the back for the kids. The way Toyota set it up is that when you take the handbrake off the front screen turns off but the rear screen stays on. Thanks for that, looks fantastic. Fingers crossed someone will come out with a good GPS / DVD replacement for the little screen in our VX soon. Thanks again.
