Broken aircon!!! My gx needs air con controls?!

Hey guys first time posting.
iv Owened this car now for 6 months I bloody love this this!
so I was gutted to find out somehow my air con temp control dial has been pushed in, after taking the unit out and sorting out the issue I then put it all back and tried it out to find the dual doesn’t work, sooo I’m currently looking for a prado 150 gx aircon unit like the one in the photo? Or alternatively could I put the gxl unit in as iv found plenty of them for sale?

It's not clear to me what you're looking for. The GX does not have an Aircon temp (temperature?) control dial. The only control specifically for the airconditioner is the on-off switch in the middle of the fan speed control knob (the right-hand knob). The left-hand knob is to control the temperature of the heater.

Sorry, you won't be able to put a GXL control panel in an GX as it uses a different Aircon Amplifier Assembly to operate the dual zone/auto functions.

Have you got someone that is electrical/electronically minded? As you could have them pull the unit apart and see if it is a simple fix as most likely circuit board mechanical damage which has broken the internal wiring and may be able to be patched.

If that's a no go from the online parts catalogues these are part numbers for the whole assembly and for the circuit board/s that you may be able to try searching for online in the new or used part markets
