Where do I start looking for the source of the Check Park Sonar System fault that comes up on the dash when I turn the reverse sensors on ?

Checked the workshop manual and it says that the system does a initial check on start up and if there is an issue with one or more sensors it will display that message.

The sensors are daisy chained starting from rear LH corner ending in rear RH corner and connected from the rear LH to the ECU via a single cable/connector.

Have you installed something lately that could have damaged a cable or unplugged a connector? If yes may be worth checking in that area to see if you did.

If you have access to a Scantool or Techstream you can connect to the Parking Sensor ECU and see the status of the individual sensors to isolate if its only one or the whole string as this may indicate where the fault/disconnect is.

Broken wire at sensor connector might be the culprit
