Fuel tank issue 150 series

I have a fuel tank issue fuel guage light comes on the dte says 530 till empty went to fill can only get 30ltrs in blowing back all the time I've cleaned the vent
is there a flap in tank that stops the fuel from entering .

What you are describing is a common symptom for when the sub-tank to main tank fuel transfer system has stopped working.

The return fuel from the engine goes into the sub-tank and because it is not being transferred eventually over fills it blocking the fuel filler breather.

You need to:

• Check the Fuel Pump Fuse and Relay in the Engine Bay fuse box (The relay can be swapped with the same type from within the fuse box to confirm its working).
• If you haven't done recently replace the under vehicle fuel filter which is part of the fuel transfer process.
• If the above doesn't sort you will need to have the main tank dropped and the in tank fuel pump checked/replaced.
