  • Tow Pro Elite fitment.

Hello!!! I've fitted a Tow pro Elite kit. To a 2019 GXL. All connections as instructed, all soldered wires with good earth. I get a blue fading light on pressing of control button when unplugged. When plugged in I then get a flashing green light. I have driven the car multiple times and no calibration. Any possible suggestions welcome???

Blue sound like it is OK. According to the manual, a green flashing light (about 2 times a second) WHILE BRAKING indicates a power supply problem on the main supply wire (black). Have you blown the fuse or has the circuit breaker failed on the main battery feed?

Hello GeeWhizz!! Thanks for your reply. I have disconnected the power supply many times, to address other connection issues. Now all connections are soldered. I have a supplied 50A circuit breaker between the battery and control box. The green flashing light flashes continuously only when plugged into the trailer. Ignition on or off?

As GeeWhizz has posted Flashing Green indicates loss of power when Brake pedal is pushed.

Reading the supplied install manual trouble shooting guide will help as there are 3 different flashing Green faults which can occur.
The manual details what they are based on when they occur, that is 1/- All the the time 2/- Only on brake press or 3/- Only when NOT braking.

Redarc have a good help desk that you can call if you've exhausted the remedies in the user manual. I called them when my Tow Pro Mark 2 had an intermittent problem - very understanding and helpful (It turned out to be a problem unique to the Mark 2 version).
