    Extra fuel is not so critical for me either. I travel long distances (never through remote desert areas) and there are always an abundance of petrol stations in most towns - even the small ones.

      In UAE, there is the choice... but with the petrol engine, I promise, you want the 150 l tank!!!

        NOTE: Maybe the rear door opening is different where you are but on UK models the rear door with underslung spare wheel - does not open upwards. Swings out sideways - only the rear glass bit opens upwards...... just thought I'd mention it so you can double check...
