Just putting it out there. Is the Kakadu worth the $10K+ extra over the vx model. Just did a quick spec comparison and the extra on the Kakadu is; moonroof, sat nav, rear dvd, rear diff lock and multi terrain monitor. Only important to me is rear dvd and perhaps gps (diff lock is excess and mtm is a gimmick). Thinking of the VX and save the extra,

Re: Kakadu versus VX
Why not order a VX with the option pack including the GPS and upgraded speakers? You can fit an aftermarket rear DVD player. I finished up buying the Kakadu and couldn't be happier, from all accounts the MTM is very effective but probably not necessary. Good luck with the decision.

Re: Kakadu versus VX
Hi
I ordered the VX with the Sat Nav option pack which includes a speaker upgrade same as the kakadu. I may add an aftermarket DVD but not sure yet. I didnt need the other extra's so could justify the extra dollars.
Kind Regards

Re: Kakadu versus VX
Hey Starcees,
The Kakadu also gets KDSS, Height adjustable rear suspension, adjustable shocks, Crawl system, AVS? lights(where the headlights turn as you turn), multi terrain select and a centre console cooler box. For me these extras made the Kakadu worth the extra money over the VX.

Re: Kakadu versus VX
The VX has KDSS as well.
The Kakadu also has memory positions for the drivers seat, which is nice with two regular drivers of different heights.

Re: Kakadu versus VX
Hi, We had the same problem - Kakadu v VX but at that time no Satnav option available (ordered 20/4 pick up 30/8) so we went the Kakadu with safety pack. The extras on the kakadu we thought were worth it. Really it was personal preference for us and we did get a terrific price ($73450 we have part GST exemption). We intend to use ours to tow, so the height adjusting suspension and adjustable shocks were a plus. Either way you'll enjoy it I'm sure.
Cheers
