  • Ipod Control in KAKADU - Firmaware Upgrade?

Hi does anyone know if the firmware is able to be changed so that the when the IPOD is connected you can change/browse the ipod at the IPOD. Currently when the Ipod is connected you can't do anything at the Ipod only select and change songs on the headunit. This becomes a problem when trying to scroll through songs as when you scroll down it changes the song at every screen as it selects the song at the top of the screen.

Apparently this is not the case on the 200 series where the ipod can still be used to search for the songs.

Currently what we do is disconnect the ipod find the song then reconnect it and it plays the song that we have selected.

It's not just the Kakadu - does the same thing on the GXL too. I asked about it when I went in for the 10k service but they had no knowledge of any firmware updates.
