I found my jack had wound itself down a bit and started to rattle in its compartment. It might be captain obvious but worth a look.

I have recently tracked down and eliminated a few different rattles in the back of my diesel 150.

      There were three issues:
      1. The black plastic cover on the inside of the left rear wheel arch. I put a bit of silicon on it to stop it rattling.
      2. The rear door spoiler - I could wobble my spoiler up and down by hand. I removed the spoiler and reattached it. Interestingly, the bolts seemed tight before I removed them, but reattaching the spoiler seemed to fix the issue. Spoiler now tight and does not wobble
      3. The rear door latch - when i hit the rear door with my hand I noticed that the door was a bit loose when closed (test this by hitting the tyre on the rear door hard). I loosened the bolts to the latch striker and knocked it forward (towards the car). It adjusted by about 4 -5 mm. The back door now closes tighter and there is no movement. Note, it doesnt look like the striker is adjustable, but it is!

All rattles now fixed. Hope this helps others track down their issues.

May have been obvious Dave-K but saved me having to look to solve my rattle. Many thanks.
