Has anyone got any tips as to where to place the unit?

Put mine in front of left knee. Hasn't got in my way once yet. Looks like an inconvenient spot, but in reality it's out of the road, and in full view.

    Cheers

I agree. In front of left knee, as high on the panel as possible. Works for me and as stated, I've never hit it with my knee.

      Regards,

      Neale.
