Dobbo they look great, where they easy to install? I am wondering if the Toyota Step Lights will work on those that come on the VX, Kakadu... Thanks for the photos.

They were very easy to fit, the drivers side especially as all bolt holes were already there on the chassis.
As I mentioned, I needed to drill 2 x 12mm holes on the middle mounting plate on the passenger side to line up with the holes in the chassis.
On the rear plate I could only get one bolt in as the other hole on the plate was directly over a largish hole in the chassis. I was thinking that I could probably get a rivnut in the hole at a later date but as I am more concerned with using these as steps rather than banging over rocks, it probably doesnt matter too much.
The steps/sliders look great Dobbo. Will be keen to check out your car at the GTG.
Cheers
Stewy

2010 Kakadu with all the usual stuff.... Build up thread below

I have just being fitting a set of Powerful 4x4 Step/Sliders to my Prado 150 GX and same problem; the FJ150 Rock slider brackets fitting to the Prado 150 Series on the passenger side are not correctly aligned to the chassis threaded bolt holes for the middle and rear bracket. This requires two holes to be drilled on the middle bracket and one on the rear bracket to enable fitting. Don’t forget to paint fresh cuts to prevent rusting.
Hey Dobbo, hope you are well. Mate the car is looking sensational, well done.
Thanks Andy. I'm very happy with the way things have progressed.
There's not much left that I need to do although the thought of a snorkel has been in my mind. I'm planning to do either a trip to the Cape or the Kimberleys in the not too distant future so that and a winch will be on the to do list.
You may have read that I bought an old Honda classic motorcycle earlier in the year so that has been consuming a few of the hard earned dollars as well, bringing that back up to original condition so I've been trying to do things as money allows.
Hey Pete, I would say the snorkel and winch are important for the Cape, gee mate you have been keeping busy.
Good luck with both the Prado and the bike.
Cheers
I must say, I've been lurking all over your build thread of late .
What are the specifics of your OME setup and how's the ride been since?
Cheers mate,
LFaR.
G'day Matt, I'm thinking a new GX may be taking up space in your garage before too much longer
I can't remember the numbers of the coils and struts and I can't get to the label on them to read the number, but it's a 2 inch lift and I think the rear coils were medium duty and the fronts were rated to 100kg??? allowing for the fitment of the bar, dual battery, and a winch in the future.
The ride unloaded could be taken as being a bit hard but not at all uncomfortable, but loaded up it really comes into it's own and feels really sure footed and soaks up the bumps nicely. The reciept says I paid $1485 for coils, Nitrocharger sports shocks and struts, and included stone guards. I fitted the rears myself and had the fronts done locally for $135.00.
BTW, I left a message on your phone today to give me a call. I wanted to get your opinion on some off road maps for a Polaris in dash GPS I've bought (I know how much you love your maps
Did you get the lights I sent down? Matt did Powerful say anything about the mounting points not lining up?
See ya on the tracks, Richo.
G'day Richo,
Yes, I did get them, thank you very much.
One now resides on the inside of the rear door, same as your's and the other is now attached to my awning, complete with a plug so I can attach a lead to either a motorcycle battery, or plug into a rear power socket.
I've just fitted a Polaris indash GPS and media player and am in the process of fitting the reverse camera so once the back is all together I'll post some more pictures in my rig build up.
I read somewhere on here that the Powerfull 4X4 steps now have the holes lined up correctly, so fitting should be a breeze.
Cheers mate.
