Still 25psi would not even get me through the entry track to my beach (Jewells Beach NSW), not sure how hard the sand is where you are?
And the rubber (didn't specifically mean tread pattern or otherwise) makes a big difference to how low you can go, my Grandcraps saw regular bead leaks at 15psi (mainly the front ones from turning), the MTR Kevlars have very stiff sidewalls and have been down regularly below 10 without a single flat, and doing some fairly hardcore stuff.
As a general rule I much prefer to avoid getting stuck than trying to get unstuck! I start at a max of 12psi on the soft stuff I am always on, much easier on the engine
