I went to the Leisurefest today in hope to get ideas for my 150 that's arriving in a couple months. I've gotta say, it was disappointing! probably because there were faaar too much emphasis on caravans (then again it's supposed to be an RV show). The 4x4 show at melbourne show grounds a couple months back was far better in my opinion. Anyway, the leisurefest's customer carpark had cars than the show itself! Maybe next time I'll just go to the show and walk around the carpark, saving myself 13bucks...
To start with, I spotted an AWESOME 150 in the staff parking lot on the way in. It's almost exactally like the setup I have planned. Also featuring the ARB Sahara Bar which is quite rare on these forums. Anyway, I stopped to take photos of it to post on PradoPoint and passerbyers gave me a dodgy look  Taking one for the team here! I guess they just don't realise how awesome that car is or maybe they reckon I'm pulling some kind of 'gone in 60 seconds' stunt...
I've whited out the rego out of the respect for the owners privacy. Took lots of angles of the sahara bar for those who need it (like I do).

Color coding makes the sahara bar look SO much better... Can anyone tell if it has been lifted? Looks higher than stock but the suspension looks stock to me...

Already getting some dodgy looks from customers walking to the main gates. I thought ARB color code the tube? I'd much like it to be color coded than be chrome...

More dodgy looks from the old fella... OK I have to admit, the temptation to "boost" this car was definitely there. I guess it's a PP's version of Eleanor  Oh and I see some BFG 265/65s

Another dodgy look.... Then again, maybe he thought I was being coy and hiding behind the car to take a shot of him??? Ya right.

Someone asked for a shot of the gap between the centre tube and the grilll, well here it is.... I also noticed the rubber on the cutout section of the front bumper was beginning to peel off.... Also noticed the crappy installation they did, why isnt the cut uniform??

And another one...

Rear shot of the car, was looking for a pradopoint sticker, shame... in it's place was a "Peter Keller" sticker
And here are some photos from the show... Most of which can be found in my 4x4 show photo thread as most of the same vehicles were there too.

Lastly, on my way out there was this jacka$$ who decided to speed down the narrow staff parking road and nearly took out a mate of mine. I managed to zoom in and take a photo of his car as he turned out. Shame he's driving a prado, but I'm glad the moron doesn't have a pradopoint sticker! If he's a lurker or somebody you know, let him know he drives like a bloody idiot.

On the somewhat long walk back to our car, I spotted heaps of prados, but none of them had pradopoint stickers on them....
Cheers
