  • Removing trim in cargo area

I have a 2010 GX 5 seater (white) and I want to thread a couple of coax cables and a control cable, for HF antenna, to the rear door. I haven't been able to work out how to remove the rear RHS seat as it seems that the trim was fitted and then the seat hinge/support was fitted through the trim. Can any one help with info on removing the RHS rear trim in the cargo area.

    Thanks, MJM

THis a good site for a range of installations on the Prado. I note that they have a goochy looking tool to unclip various peices of trim (looks like a flat blade with a fork end and angled). I wonder if we can get our hands on such tool instead of taking to the trim with a flat bladed screw driver or the like?
      Cheers

        Hi Mike
Ebay sells lots of this stuff. Just look for Trim removal tools.
