    Re: Seat covers

    Hi,

Just fitted a set of genuine toyota material seat covers to my 150 series GXL. They fit awsome but are a pain in the backside to fit. After seeing these I would not consider anything else. All the armrests and different sections are all covered seperately so that the seats can still all fold individually. They also tuck under all the plastic handle bits on the seats for a really neat finish. They were $245 on ebay for the 2nd row only.

    Regards Andy

      Re: Seat covers

I agree with Andy, I've just got my 150 with the seat covers. The dealer fitted them. They are 10/10 !! Most people wouldn't even know they are seat covers, they blend in so well.

      I'm the same, I wouldn't consider others.

        Re: Seat covers

I bought the MSA cotton lined canvas seat covers.
An absolute b*tch to install, but look good and protect the seats well.
I think they were $800 or so for the front and second row seats.

          Hi Sam,

They look like a neat fit, is the arm rest in the 2nd row of seats still able to swing up/down?

Also are the headrest covers included in the price?

          Thanks

              Hey Rob,

Yes the centre cup holder/arm rest still comes down and yes the headrest are included in the price.

Hi,this my toyota dealer email me "I’ve just been informed of a problem with the rear seat covers. The Parts Department has let me know that the seat covers for middle row are on back order as they needed to be redesigned when they did the shape change to meet safety requirements. "
does your dealer contact you for middle row seat cover?

I have just fitted my Wetseat covers, they are made from wetsuit material and I thought I would give them a shot. They fit very well and are airbag compliant. pretty tight to fit but it all worked out. My car does smell like the wetsuit section in a surf store but I am sure that will die off soon. the wetseat guys have a special at the moment.

If you are in WA I recommend you look at Gotya covered in Welshpool. I got the black denim on foam but they also do canvas. Great service and made on site.Click image for larger version

I ordered mine from modern motor trimmers. They are in Perth somewhere http://moderntrimmers.com.au/

I have denim for the front and canvas for the rear. Middle arm rest and everything comes down. The price was good too.
