I fixed the rattling seats and many other problems in my Kakadu by selling it. After more than 40 years of owning Toyota vehicles the 150 Prado will definitely be my last. Should have kept my 200 series Landcruiser, far superior to the latest Prado.

This statement is a bit of a oxymoron, isn't it.

Funny that, I just joined the forum and have the same issues as the rest of the crew. The rattling empty rear seat and the little "city" mudflaps are my main ones. I have added rubber extensions to the existing plastic flaps for $60 and the rattling seat has a child seat on it keeping it quiet now. I do like my VX 150 though. A big step up from my old Hilux dual cab. Regards
Marko
I've found the same issue on the new GXL I have. No noises as yet but you can see them moving in the rear view mirror, mainly the passenger side middle row.
Rattle in GLX in rear left hand side.
This is also driving me nuts. I can see the middle row seats shaking when driveing over bumps but I cannot provoke the rattle when statioary. I was wondering if it is something in behind the rear left hand side outer panel. I also wondered if it is the spare wheel cover. I haven't tried removing the support strut for the rear door yet.
Its important to let toyota dealers know. I have tried to feedback problems to Toyota and they seem to say that they only register problems reported through their dealer networks. So call the dealer and ask them to tell Toyota. Also surely this should be fixed under warranty?
