A tragedy has occurred. My beautiful car has been wounded. I was sitting in my house having a chat with my mate who i hadn't seen in a month and my wife says she's going to take our daughter down to a playground and that she'd take my car instead of hers. Fair enough i thought - mi prado su prado - and i thought nothing more of it... until i heard a nasty crunching noise come from the font of the house. I looked out the window and saw that my dearest had reversed out of the garage and into the side of my friends car. End result is a dented panel, scratched paintwork and busted rear light assembly for him and a buckled rear bumper for me.
Wifey has come back inside to confess and has straight up said that she never heard the reverse sensor beeping. I have heard owners of other makes say that their reverse sensors don't work in the rain, and it was bucketing down at the time. Has anyone else had this problem, or is it an "isolated incident?"
P.S. I thought it best to bite my tongue and not point out that the car is fitted with a reverse camera, two bloody big side mirrors and what happened to using the Mk1 eyeball?
