    Fair enough... just wondering why dealers wouldn't deliver a new car with no or little mileage if they had the chance. Sure, a car with 10km or 90km on the odometer isn't really much of a difference... but after spending around 50-70k, generally everyone wants to be the first to drive their new car.

      I think we may be getting a bit precious here

      It doesn't make any difference if the car has 10, 20, 50, 100 or even 200km on it when delivered. It's still a new car. You'll put the first 1000 on it in no time and an extra 20 or 30km on it at delivery will mean nothing.

      For the record, mine had 13km on it.

            Mine had 31 km on the clock but it had a lot of extras fitted prior to delivery, so I was neither surprised nor bothered.

                5 Km - seems low considering delivery considerations plus towbar so wondering if a reset was done sometime prior to delivery.

                  Hi All

                  My new D4D GXL arrived 25/1/2011 - 13 kms on the clock. Dealer has 2 locations and advised if a vehicle has to go to the other location they send it by transport - no driving to the other location.

                  Also I had no extras so there was no sending it off somehwere to get things fitted - I'll do that myself and save the LCT.

                    I don't believe so. All extras fitted at delivery were Toyota genuine accessories.

                    Well, I would like to believe it. My Subaru had 23 K's on it when I got it, with same extras also.

                      My 120 series had 9km when I picked it up, didn't have a full tank of fuel though, stingy dealership.

                          I got the graphite and the only reason I bought it from Bunbury and not Busselton was that Mark Docking gave me a better deal as it was all done over the internet and I bought my 120 from him. When I picked it up it only had 37kms on it so I was happy with that. ARB are putting on the bullbar and towbar on Wed and then the dual batteries, extra cigerette lighters in the bag and the spotlights go on Thurs so when I get home she (Grace) should be right to go.
                          What else do you reckon I should put on her, thinking about a snorkel but unsure if I will really need it down south, unlike up North.
