Dont forget, Toyota state the centre arm rest storage should not have electrical items placed in it (phones, iPods, etc), let alone installed and wired into it. Toyota might find reason for warranty voiding if you did this install.

I've done the same mod as Kingpin, works a treat and keeps all the messy wires off the console. The only way Toyota would knock back a warranty was if the mod had a direct effect on the item that was being claimed as warranty. For instance they wouldn't / couldn't knock you Back on a wheel bearing failure because you moved a wire? But they may if you had some wires fuse near the mod.
