  • accelerator panel removal

How do I get the plastic panel off on the RH side of the accelerator pedal? I can ony see the one fastener but the panel still does not want to come off. Is it only brute force? I don't want to break anything so any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Terry

    Hi Terry,

yes it is only the one fastener holding it. Just give a bit of a pull back towards the seat and it should come out easily. I had that panel out recently when I was running the power for my chip and wasnt difficult to remove.

From memory you also must remove trip from door sil first, then pull the accelerator trim inward and away from the firewall. It's not overly difficult or forceful. Hope this helps

You will need to remove the door trim first as has been said above and then there is a single screw on the panel next to the accelerator panel. My UHF install thread shows some pics, follow the link to my build up to see it.

        Cheers
