I (well actually Daren 123 and I watched on as the TA) ended up making one. Maybe it might not be as professional as a Trektable however I have one which can be used on the upcoming trip to Kimberly and Cape York. Click image for larger version

        Good news folks,

Trek Table have a version for the 150 Prado, and I had one fitted last week...honestly, in my opinion, don't waste your time making one yourself, unless you have nothing better to do and have lots of patience and even then you might come up with something that is functional but you will have no chance of coming up with something that is as well made. The Trektable is so well made and fitted it will addd value to the car. Its like a genuine accessory, only better. A poorly made and fiitted table will look exactly that, and in all honestly, probably won't save you very much money, especially if you drill into a cable or break a door trim or something trying to fit it.

The TREKTABLE is quite simply, very professional, extraodinarily well made, secure and functional. There has been quite a lot of design work done to ensure that it fits well, with specially sourced hinges and attachments as the 150 prado with the raised rear floor and curved door have some challenges to be overcome when fitting a table. You can look as closely as you like at the TREKTABLE and I don't know how it was done, but you cannot find any joins in the marine grade carpet..seriously, no joins visible anywhere and the carpet covers strong marine ply, its well trimmed, well fitted and I am one happy cutsomer (with no affiliation whatsoever with TREKTABLE)...well done TREKTABLE! Thankyou.

We could not live without ours. Great for a cuppa, making up lunch, unpacking the fridge etc. It is also a perfect baby change table when you are out on the tracks.
          Cheers

                Bernie.

around the $200 dollar mark. I picked mine up from Trektable, but Andrew kindly fitted it as he wanted to check some measurements for the very detailed installation instructions...email Andrew at Trektable and he will give you a price.... and honestly, it is a fair price, its not cheap but its not nasty, its locally made ...and well made at that.
