Whilst I am no by any means a designer or engineer i decided to knock something up that was very functional for SWMBO and I and still retained some cargo space.
Not wanting drawers at all as what i wanted to fit in the drawers would not have worked...for us anyway.
So off to bunnings i went..bought some 12mm MDF, carpet, 50mm aluminium square tube..a few connectit fittings and bits and pieces. Total outlay $140 ish.
So i knocked this up.
The setup allows me to store our folding chairs easy and easy to access, as well as the Treds and stuff. The total weight of the unit came in at a nice and light 9.5 kgs.
Oh and the whole unit is secured with 2 turnbuckles attached to the cargo screen. I have a fridge slide on order..one of those slide out drop down jobs.
