Battery Brace
I'm expecting to do some corrugations on some trips coming up. Thought I'd give myself some protection against the dreaded cracked front guards.
It seems the best solution is to brace the battery to help reduce the flex in the guard when going over the rough stuff. There have been a few reports of cracked guards that have been repaired and then braced with no further cracking.
I designed something to replace the standard factory battery brace and allow another bracket to go upto the radiator cross member.
I had to print the main brace in two parts cause it didn't quite fit in my printer. Fitment checked and all seems good. Next step is to get some made in steel.
