Is there a fitting that will replace the flip up centre console above the 4wd controls so that I could mount single din device or full size uhf radio on the facelift model? Perhaps a single din and pocket? Or a double din device?

I would go see BDL in Fyshwick. I would think they could source something like that for either you or them to install
