No filler. Fusion weld. Pressing job was pretty spot on. No big gaps to fill.

Water tank install
My bits and pieces arrived on Friday and the tank and brackets were ready too. I fit it up this morning and was very happy with the fit.
I had to decide on the hole positions for the breathers and tank sender (level probe). Clearance around the vehicle was good and tank seems very sturdy. After I drilled the holes I gave it a good clean out with a little detergent before installing.
Sender, tap, level meter and breathers
Hole for sender and breather position. The breather is on the end of some hose which I position higher than the tank.
Tank installed in position
Filled it up and tested the level indicator. Not happy with the tap position as it hangs below the tank. I have ordered a pump and faucet and will be installing it in the rear door. I am also considering installing an in-line filter as I will be mainly using this tank for drinking water.

You making this too??? Expand your own range of 150 Prado parts
You have some serious design skills to get things out the door so quick.
I've been trying to work out what I want to do for water fo a little while now, this looks like a great solution. I have a kaymar on my prado, if you want to see if it fits I would be keen to get one. Sling me a PM if you are interested
Cheers

Mate, Goodna is easy. The Kaymar attaches very similar to the genuine bar. I'll send you a PM[LEFT]Silver 150 Facelift

Just in case anyone was interested, the kaymar takes up a bit more room than the genuine tow bar, so room to fit a water tank here is reduced. Recon you might be able to easily get 20L in there, hardly worth the effort in my oppinion. Good to meet you though Tin175, hopefully we'll catch up again, I'm interested to see the next secret mod[LEFT]Silver 150 Facelift
